Grazie dí tutto!
Thanks a bunch if you're speaking Giro d 'italia
Another fun year in the books and plenty of smiles around the park for our 7th year.
From the crew at Cedar Hill, thanks to those that came out - you are what makes this event special.
A few super kudos to send out:
The Men in Blue - our Madison Police Officers - who volunteered their time and are always at the park on race day to make sure you watt goblins have a safe venue. I think I speak for every single person at the park when I say - thank you for all you do. Thank you for making our event incident free for 8 years now.
The Hattie B's Racing dudes- every year they just bring it. Crack of dawn, they're up and at the park helping set the course up. They're helping with the kids race, driving race vehicles, organizing awards and payouts and doing podium presentations. They're taking and editing photos and wrenching bikes and bandaging owies, and absolutely they are not drinking the awesome beer sponsor handouts! These shitbirds are the reason we have this race.
David Hardin from Biker's Choice - another local bike shop dude who really cares about this event and all bike events really. The tunes and fun color commentary that you hear every year, you hear this because of David's 80k watt sound system that he drags out at the crack of dawn every year. Thank you, David, and please click thru here if you're shopping for bike stuff around the North side of Nashville, please do check out their shop!
Last but not least. This last person need no introduction.
He has the golden voice and we are certain he has spoken with every person at Cedar Hill.
Dahron Johnson has this special talent for breathing life into the day's races. He's our beloved version of Phil Liggett, rife with his own lexicon for Cedar Hill that he weaves masterfully throughout the day's races.
To extend our gratitude, we're supporting an event that holds special meaning to Dahron and his son Rohan. On behalf of the Cedar Hill Criterium, and those that have enjoyed our race, we're pleased to share a contribution of $500 to Rohan's Camp Lakely Gap-an amazing camp for autistic children, teenagers, & adults-in 2019.
We can't think of a better way to support someone whose been so generous with his time and voice - please click thru here if you would like to offer your own support.
That's all for now folks, thanks again for another great year at the Cedar Hill Crit.
